Adobe Creative Suite 3 ME Design Premium

Winsoft has released version 3 of its Adobe Creative Suite ME Design Edition. It comes in two flavours: Standard and Premium.

The Standard suite focuses on professional print design and includes InDesign CS3 ME, Photoshop CS3 ME, Illustrator CS3 ME and Acrobat 8 Professional ME.

The Premium suite is a tool-kit for print, web, interactive, and mobile design and includes InDesign CS3 ME, Photoshop CS3 ME Extended, Illustrator CS3 ME, Acrobat 8 Professional ME, Dreamweaver CS3 ME and Flash CS3 Professional.

When we look at version 3 of the Creative Suite ME, we find it hard to imagine, that one day in the past, the applications of this suite did not support Arabic. In version 3, Arabic is so seamlessly integrated in the applications that it feels like an integral part of the software.

Some applications in the suite are the best or perhaps the only ones (think Photoshop ME and Illustrator ME) of their kind in the Arabic market. However, Winsoft’s virtual monopoly hasn’t led the company to grow complacent.

The applications have all received a collective facelift across the board. There are plenty of new features worth highlighting, not the least of which is genuine support for Windows Vista and MacIntel systems. The real keyword for this latest Creative Suite, however, is “integration”. CS3 users will find a level of compatibility between traditional applications like Photoshop ME and Illustrator ME, and formerly Macromedia-branded applications, such as Dreamweaver ME and Flash.

Design workflow has been improved to include the mobile and Web spaces. The Premium version of the suite integrates Web design, by adding Dreamweaver ME and Flash into the mix. InDesign ME users will be able to export layouts as XHTML or XML for publishing in Dreamweaver ME. Multi-layered Photoshop ME files can be quickly imported into Flash for easy animation. In the mobile space, Illustrator ME and Photoshop ME Extended (Extended support native video and 3D support) allow users to code pages from mobile displays.

As for the Adobe Creative Suite 3 ME Web Edition, it includes in its Standard flavour, the Middle East versions of Adobe Flash Professional, Adobe DreamWeaver, Adobe FireWorks and Adobe Contribute. The Premium flavour adds Adobe Acrobat 8 Prfessional, Adobe Photoshop Extended and Adobe Illustrator.
